ANGELWELT 2025: Europe's biggest fishing fair is fully booked and continues to grow
With less than four weeks to go before the start of the fair, one thing is certain: ANGELWELT 2025 is fully booked. Europe's leading trade fair for angling and sport fishing continues to grow – with around 20 percent more exhibitors than last year and a record participation of over 250 national and international exhibitors and brands from countries such as China, Brazil, Japan, Mongolia, the Maldives, Scandinavia – including Sweden and Finland – and the USA. Once again, Berlin will become the international meeting place and center of the European angling scene from 28 to 30 November 2025.
"We are delighted that ANGELWELT is growing year after year. This applies to both quality and internationality," says Felix Steinacker, Head of ANGELWELT. "The halls are full, the brands more diverse than ever, and the atmosphere is already buzzing. Together with the German Angling Association (DAFV), the fair shows that angling is much more than just catching fish. Under the motto ‘Fishing in the middle of society’, the DAFV presents current projects and provides information on fishing policy issues and discussions. This makes it clear that fishing today is a modern, sustainable, and socially relevant leisure activity – and that ANGELWELT is the leading meeting place for the European angling community."
“Angling combines nature, sustainability, and education in a unique way,” explains Alexander Seggelke, Managing Director of the German Angling Association (DAFV). “Those who fish learn about ecological relationships in a practical way, take responsibility for our waters, and actively promote the protection of fish stocks and habitats. That's why fishing is not only a valuable leisure and cultural activity, but also an important part of sustainable environmental education and a forward-looking water policy."
High internationality and brand density
With over 18,000 square meters of exhibition space, ANGELWELT 2025 presents a brand density and diversity that sets standards across Europe. Among others, the following brands are represented: Abu Garcia, Arctic Silver, Aava, Balzer, Berkley, Biwaa, BKK, Buffalo Gear, Chasebaits, Coleman, Dometic, Fennek, Fox Rage, Garmin, Gator, G.
