Construction Work at the Railway Crossing in Werder (Havel) – Full Closure and Diversions

Please note the current traffic restrictions in Werder (Havel): the railway crossing at L 90 / Kesselgrundstraße is fully closed due to construction work. If you are arriving by car, please allow extra travel time and follow the signposted diversions. Expect increased traffic volume on the diversion routes.

All car traffic towards the railway crossing and Marina Havelauen will be redirected during the closure via the diversion route: Kemnitzer Chaussee – Dicke Eiche – Fuchsberg – L90.

Regional train R1 direction Brandenburg/Magdeburg main station: Werder (Havel)

From Werder (Havel) train station, Marina Havelauen can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. Pedestrians are allowed to pass through the construction area. Cyclists may also pass, but in some sections, bicycles must be pushed. Please note that short-term restrictions may still occur due to the construction work.

Travel by bus from Werder station:

  • Line 634 (towards Neu Töplitz) and Line 362 (towards Phöben) depart from a replacement stop located in the parking lot north of the railway tracks.
  • Destination stop: Hugo-Junkers-Str.
  • Adjusted timetables apply:
    • Friday: every 2 hours (with additional trips in the morning)
    • Saturday: hourly
    • Sunday: no service

Recommendation for arrival by car

We recommend traveling via the A10 motorway (exit Phöben towards Werder (Havel)), then continue via Phöbener Str. – Otto-Lilienthal-Str. to BOOT & FUN INWATER.

Arriving from Potsdam: please use the diversion route Kemnitzer Chaussee – Dicke Eiche – Fuchsberg – L90.

Arrival by taxi from Werder station:

Due to the full closure at the railway crossing L 90 / Kesselgrundstraße, taxis must also take the diversion route via Kemnitzer Chaussee – Dicke Eiche – Fuchsberg – L 90, which will increase travel time.
