BOAT & FUN BERLIN 2021 celebrates a successful comeback

Large crowds at the Berlin boating and leisure exhibition. Around 700 exhibitors and brands did good business and presented a wide range of themes surrounding water sports and leisure activities. Save the date: the next BOAT & FUN BERLIN will take place from 24 to 27 November 2022.

From 11 to 14 November 2021 on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, BOAT & FUN BERLIN presented water sports enthusiasts and tourists with a wide range of products, ranging from sailing boats, electric boats, aluminium-hulled boats and premium motor yachts to canoes, kayaks, water sports equipment and accessories. As one of the largest boating exhibitions for inland and coastal water sports, over four days BOAT & FUN BERLIN displayed trends and innovations, including more boats making their debut than ever before, and in doing so celebrated a successful comeback following its break due to the pandemic in 2020. The supporting exhibitions ANGLER WORLD BERLIN, AUTO CAMPING CARAVAN, TRANSPORTERTAGE BERLIN and AUTOTAGE BERLIN augmented the displays of the Berlin boating and exhibition – visitors were able to gain inspiration and comprehensive information on a whole range of options for planning leisure time outdoors.

“Our concept was an all-round success. The wide range of themes was very well received by visitors. We are delighted that we were able to hold such a wide-ranging event under the existing safety and hygiene rules and to offer both visitors and exhibitors a fantastic experience“, was the positive conclusion drawn by Daniel Barkowski, the project manager for BOAT & FUN BERLIN.

Around 700 exhibitors and brands concluded substantial business and reported keen customer interest. One of them was Ralf Segel from Galeon Yachten: “’Licence to boat‘ , the slogan of the GALA NIGHT OF THE BOATS, was perfect for our stand. We are able to report keen customer interest and did good business. We are looking forward to BOAT & FUN BERLIN 2022.” This will take place from 24 to 27 November 2022 on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.

In the BOAT & FUN BERLIN E-Boat section in Hall 27, the focus was on electric boats from various exhibitors and brands. Visitors showed keen interest in eco-friendly boat drive systems. Nicole Kindel from PureVolt GbR said: “Electromobility was a big talking point at BOAT & FUN BERLIN. There were many visitors on our stand in the E-Boot section. Electric boats attracted a lot of interest and were very well received. Overall, we were able to establish contact with many interested customers and are satisfied.”

Save the date: event dates in 2022
Water sports enthusiasts and tourists can already meet in August in Werder/Havel, where from 26 to 28 August BOAT & FUN INWATER will be showing boats in their element for the fifth time. From 24 to 27 November 2022 BOAT & FUN BERLIN will once again extend an invitation to the exhibition in the halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, which will open in the traditional manner with the GALA NIGHT OF THE BOATS on 23 November 2022. Rounding off the BOAT & FUN family is its third member, BOAT & FUN ONLINE, which offers virtual services 365 days a year. Social media channels with their ability to reach large audiences, and the website of BOAT & FUN are the ideal platforms here.
